- Establishment of the “ Problem Formulation Research Lab “ in 1990 as an educational unit in FOM,SCU and helped establishing a similar unit in Ahfad Medical School, Sudan in 2000,and Hadramout Medical College in Yemen .

- Establishment of a Task Force for capacity building in Health Management and Leadership in 1997(FOM,SCU) .

- Establishment of the first Medical Education Department in Egypt and Arab region in The Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University in 2001.
